July 20, 2011 -- Toronto ON -- Vector Aerospace Corporation, one of the world's leading providers of aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, has announced the signing of a service agreement between Vector Aerospace Engine Services Atlantic, Inc. and John Hopkinson & Associates Limited, based in Calgary, Alberta.

The three-year service agreement requires Vector to provide John Hopkinson and Associates with comprehensive fixed-wing engine repair and overhaul support for the Pratt & Whitney Canada JT15D and PT6A series engines from its P&WC Distributor and Designated Overhaul Facility (DDOF) located in Summerside, Prince Edward Island. The work performed in Summerside will be augmented by Vector's four other North American satellite centres located in Atlanta, Georgia; Calgary, Alberta; Dallas, Texas; and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

John Hopkinson, president of John Hopkinson and Associates Ltd., says "We are very proud to be entering into this service agreement with Vector Aerospace." Having been in business for over 40 years, JH&A have facilitated the purchase or sale of over 3,500 new and pre-owned aircraft; the company continues to be an industry leader in providing both individuals and corporations with comprehensive service, from the planning stages through to the completion of transactions.

"The signing of this agreement represents another significant achievement for Vector Aerospace Engine Services-Atlantic in further establishing itself as a world-class P&W distributor and designated overhaul facility," states John MacDougall, senior vice-president of sales and marketing for Vector Aerospace. "We believe this latest agreement is a direct reflection of our team's expertise with these engine models, and the confidence demonstrated by operators in our ability to consistently deliver the highest standards of quality, performance and customer satisfaction."

The Vector-JH&A agreement includes repairs, hot section inspections, modifications, and overhaul and test support for the P&WC PT6A and JT15D series engines.
